About The Product:
The Yamaha NP-30 Portable Grand delivers simplicity and great digital piano sound in a super lightweight, sleek and compact design for an amazingly low price. Weighing only 12 pounds, the NP-30 could be the most compact performer in the digital class. It comes with the new Graded Soft-Touch keyboard technology, a first of its kind that delivers different levels of resistance without the extra weight of the hammers.  Advanced Wave Memory stereo piano samples are loaded into this portable piano to create sound closest to an acoustic type using digital recording technology.

AWM Stereo Sampling creates deeper and richer sound by using a pair of waveforms obtained via a stereo recording process. Piano Preset songs also provide additional performance data plus some voice demo songs are also included for simple listening features.  The NP-30 comes with Built-in Stereo Speaker System with highly efficient amplifiers packing more sound into a lightweight model. The NP-30 also operates dual power mode, so it's quite convenient to take anywhere.

Customer Feedback-

"
Hey, if you're looking for an inexpensive electric piano, BUY THE NP-30. My biggest concern was the weighted key issue, (the NP-30 has "graded" keys...whatever that means.) All I know is the keys feel good, not weighted by any stretch, but they feel natural somehow, and after a little adjustment time I found I really like the feel."

"Until now, there hasn't been an affordable 76-key keyboard that weighs ONLY 12 POUNDS and can RUN ON BATTERIES! Keyboardists who don't need all the bells and whistles of sequencers and synthesizers will be delighted with this ultra-light keyboard."

"Just received my NP30 and I'm really pleased. The sound is very good, and the price is exceptional. I couldn't believe there was a 76 key Yamaha digital piano for $299!"

"This is fairly simple keyboard with great piano samples. If you're looking for something basic, and not too expensive this is the keyboard for you. The fact you can layer with other sounds quickly and in the middle of a performance is a big bonus. Grand Piano 1 and 2 layered with strings sound amazing when played through an amp. Built in speakers are acceptable for practice, but not powerful enough for a live performance.
